ABERFELDY 12YO: The honey-sweet pride of the Highlands

Since 1898, the Aberfeldy distillery, founded by the legendary Dewar brothers, has been producing whisky of exceptional quality in the heart of Scotland. The 12-year-old expression is known worldwide for its distinctive honey-sweet character, the result of an unusually long fermentation process in larch wood casks. This artisanal process leads to the formation of complex esters, giving the whisky its famous fruity and full body.

Maturation takes place in a careful selection of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, ensuring a perfect harmony between the natural sweetness of the barley and the spicy influences of the wood. Aroma A rich and fragrant bouquet of liquid honey, creamy vanilla, and a hint of fresh pineapple, subtly supported by the scent of roasted grains.

Palate The mouthfeel is full and syrupy. On the palate, you recognize flavors of heather honey and soft toffee, followed by a light spiciness of ginger and orange peel.

Finish A refined, dry finish with lingering notes of mild spices and a soft hint of oak that slowly and warmly fades away.
