ABERFELDY 15YO Cadillac Wine Finish: The golden encounter with Bordeaux

This special expression of Aberfeldy is the result of the craftsmanship of Malt Master Stephanie Macleod. The whisky has its foundation from an aging period of one and a half decades, after which it underwent a crucial finishing in casks that previously held the noble sweet white wine from Cadillac (Bordeaux). The Cadillac casks enrich the typical "Golden Dram" character of Aberfeldy with layers of rich nectar, sun-dried apricots, and floral nuances.

The water from the Pitilie Burn, rich in mineral sediments, forms the basis of this whisky, while the Cadillac finish provides a refined complexity that is rarely encountered in a Highland malt.
