Located in the heart of Speyside, at the confluence of the rivers Lour and Spey, Aberlour creates whiskies that stand out for their round and full-bodied structure. The 12-year-old Double Cask Matured is a masterful creation where the spirit is matured in two separate casks: traditional ex-bourbon casks for the development of vanilla and fruit nuances, and seasoned ex-sherry casks for its deep ruby color and spiciness. Only just before bottling are these two worlds brought together.

The influence of the sherry casks is clearly present without being overpowering, resulting in a whisky that appeals to both the novice drinker and the seasoned enthusiast. Taste & character

Nose A soft and fruity bouquet with distinct notes of red apple, dried fruits, and a subtle undertone of autumnal spices.
