This expression is produced in small batches, with an emphasis on preserving the rich, full-bodied spirit that is so characteristic of the distillery. What makes this 14-year-old variant special is its specific balance; it offers more maturity and spiciness than the younger bottlings, without losing the signature freshness of the Aberlour spirit.

Dual maturation has been elevated to an art form here. The first-fill bourbon casks grant the whisky its creamy foundation and notes of caramel, while the Oloroso sherry casks provide the deep, ruby-like glow and flavors of dried fruit. At De Brouwhoeve, we select this whisky because it embodies the essence of a modern Speyside malt: complex enough to keep discovering, yet smooth enough to be enjoyed at any moment.
